Liverpool Community Project

Print design and art workshops in collaboration with Abeer, Balsam, Brona, Hind, Jehan, Kelly, Maryana, Princess, Reem and Wurood, in partnership with Western Sydney MRC for The Social Outfit.

My role during this project was both facilitator and designer. Over six weeks, I worked with project participants in a series of artistic workshops, designed to increase confidence and form new social connections. Each workshop introduced a new skill or material, including floral illustration and block printing. At the end of these workshops, I collaged pieces from each participant’s artwork to create a collaborative repeat pattern design for clothing and accessories.
